Company Regulations

We have always taken the matter of regulation very seriously and were previously members of the General Insurance Standards Council.

On January 14 2005, regulation of the whole insurance industry was taken over by The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and subsequently by The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in April 2013. We are authorised and regulated by The FCA.

Our membership number is 304799.

We are also members of the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA).

With a BIBA Broker you benefit from trained regulated professionals who are subject to strict rules laid down by the FCA.

BIBA Members are independent, which means we can recommend products from a range of insurers.

Your interests are safeguarded first at all times because BIBA Brokers' first duty of care is to you and not to the insurance company.

As a regulated firm, we are required to hold PII which meets the Regulators requirements and we confirm that Broadhurst & Co meet that requirement.
