Commercial Insurance
We can arrange cover for many types of commercial insurance and only deal with major, well established insurers, as follows:

Shops, Offices, Surgeries
We can arrange cover for a wide range of trades and businesses to protect your stock, contents, liabilities and revenue. Cover is provided on a package basis, which automatically includes cover for business interruption, glass, liabilities and business money. Some policies also include goods in transit and commercial legal expenses cover as standard.
Liability
We have access to a number of schemes for liability cover, for many different trades - carpet fitters, builders, plasterers, tilers and plumbers are just some of the occupations we can arrange cover for.
Premiums are usually based on the number of working persons (normally up to a maximum of 5), and standard cover includes Public Liability Cover (for £1 Million, £2 Million or £5 Million). Optional cover is available for Employers' Liability and Tools.
We can also arrange cover for businesses where the number of workers exceeds 5. Premiums are usually based on the annual turnover and wages figures.
Motor Fleet
Fleet insurance can be arranged for companies with at least 3 vehicles (private cars and commercial vehicles). The advantages of a fleet policy are:
- One policy and renewal date for all business vehicles
- Cover for business use for any authorised driver
- Further vehicles can be added at any time at discounted rate
- Private cars and commercial vehicles can be insured on same policy
Business
We already arrange cover for a wide range of trades and businesses, including Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Service Providers and Distributors.
Although cover can be arranged over the telephone, in these cases we normally prefer to come and visit you, so that we can review your existing arrangements, view your premises and ensure that we obtain the policy and cover most suitable for your requirements.
Clubs
We have access to very competitive schemes for sports and social clubs, where cover is specifically tailored to suit the needs of your club.
Professional Indemnity
Cover can be arranged for a wide range of trades - accountants, solicitors, surveyors, computer consultants, and for various limits of indemnity.
Normally we will require a proposal form completing, and a copy of your CV and contract terms in order to obtain a quotation.
Motor Trade
We can arrange cover for motor traders (car sales, repairers, engineers, recovery agents etc) requiring road risks cover only, or for those with premises.
Other Risks
There are of course many insurance policies that do not fall into the categories mentioned, for example:
- engineering inspection for plant
- Commercial Legal Expenses,
- Products Recall and Guarantee,
- Directors & Officers Liability,
- Group Personal Accident & Sickness.
For some of these risks, there are special schemes available, which we have access to. We also use a Lloyds Broker to access the Lloyds Market.
